What’s your gift, your purpose? Who are you?

We all have a superpower.

Maybe you’re a great cook, a powerful leader or influencer, you have a creative talent, you’re spiritually enlightened, a good listener, motivator, teacher…

It is my experience that most people spend their time and put energy into “what they do”, and don’t allow themselves to be “who they are”.

Can you relate?

It’s a part of us that we silence, or hush, or think is whimsical or irrational and as a result we become dull. We don’t shine.

Oftentimes these super powers or “callings” are revealed when we pause and get curious.

Imagine for a moment you have no limitations geographically, financially, or responsibility. You can try things like:

  • Vision boards
  • Ask questions like, if you could spend your time doing exactly what you want to do, what would that be?
  • How would that feel?
  • What brings you joy?

Want to take it a step further?  Write it down in a journal.  Close your eyes and imagine it with all your senses.

  • Where are you?
  • What’s the temperature?
  • Who, if anyone is around you?
  • How do you feel?

The truth is, it takes a lot of courage to step into what you know at your core to be right for you. Who will judge? Who will it affect?

Sometimes the biggest judge is ourselves because of the story we tell ourselves about what we should or shouldn’t do, how we act, who we spend time with and what makes us truly happy.

As January comes to a close, I realize that the time I’ve spent this month getting quiet, reflecting, searching and letting go and trusting has been extraordinary.

This is my story and I can write my own happy ending…

I am free. I love my abundant life. All I deeply desire is drawn to me when I soften and receive. I trust my path.

And this is what I want for you.

Will you try this exercise and let me know your thoughts?
